I have a friend that has been told through a few sources that the band is planning a tour in 2016. With a studio released album. In the past Plant has been adamant about zero chance of a tour. I have found a few sites that mention a tour but nothing credible, I been to the bands site and other legitimate music sites but can't find anything.
I remain doubtful about this information.
Any credible info?

You kinda had me here. Kinda. If anything I think they'll do a dozen or so shows, not a tour. Even then, unlikely.

This slammed it shut. No way that happens.

Bonham died 7 years before my birth. I don't give a frick if they're old as balls, I want to see Zeppelin.

Well by all means. Even though there's better cover bands out the doing Zep songs than what theyll sound like. Pay that frickin money son lol

SPOILERS. Wonder if theyll slow down most of their songs and lower the key a few notes so they'll sound like folksy down tempo versions of the originals (so plant can actually hit a few of the notes)

And wonder if Plant will wiggle and awkwardly squirm around onstage like Jagger and Roth like a nasty grandpa the isn't allowed 300 yards from a school or playground

frick it. I'm in

Won't happen and they have no reason to do so.

Some years ago I saw the Page-Plant tour... Plant wouldn't tour as L.Z. It was a stripped down, four piece playing exactly like Zeppelin sans John Paul Jones...played a lot old blues shite and early stuff.

Those guys still have it.

Having seen Zeppelin in their mid-70's prime, I was reluctant to even see Page & Plant reunion in the 90's. Well, luckily I did and they still put on a nice show & my younger wife was in heaven, she had never seen them before.
For younger fans, if they tour, this is your one (last) chance to see these legends together. Sure, they are not going to be as good as they were, but that is not important. Don't worry about what others think- go and enjoy!
