I really want to go see Roger Waters in NOLA in July. I saw Pink Floyd with David Gilmour as the frontman in '94 in the Dome and it was by far the most visual concert I've ever been to. Pink Floyd is almost definitely never touring again so this is probably the closest I'll get to seeing them again. I know that Waters has had a couple of tours since 94 and just wondering if anyone here has seen him live and what their thoughts were, especially if you also so PF in 94 (The Division Bell tour).

I'm not in BR anymore so it won't be as easy for me to just ride an hour down the road to watch the show and drive home so I'm really just wanting to make sure it will be worth the 4 hour drive and accommodations and all that.

Reviews for The Wall tour a few years ago were phenomenal. I was really disappointed that didn't come to New Orleans. Heard nothing but great things from people who went.

That's what I figured. Seeing Waters perform the masterpiece that The Wall is has got to be fricking amazing. TIckets are only around $60 for the balcony which is really where you want to be for a show like this. It's all about the complete visual experience, not seeing the actual performers on stage.

I bought some really expensive tickets for this show because

waters really puts some effort into the visuals in his shows. He also has alot of others doing vocals to make up for his voice. I'm pretty psyched.

Not surprisingly, it appears that the show gets pretty political. Again, not surprisingly, it appears that he hates Trump.

Not to discourage you at all, but if's it's anything like the 94 show, then distance from the stage is not a bad thing. That show had lasers, a moving, smoking, light surrounded movie screen, inflatable pigs, simulated helicopters and crashing planes, even a huge disco ball. If you're as big a Floyd fan as I am, I'm sure you've seen the Pulse live video by now. That was the best 3 hours of my f'n life...

Got floor tickets right by the sound board. Should be the best of both worlds.

The music will be great. Animals, wish you were here, darkside, and the wall are all well represented. Roger will ultimately try to turn the concert into an anti-trump fest.... If you can stomach Rog's hatefest, the tunes should be awesome. It may be your last chance to see performances from those great albums, all the remaining PF guys are long-long in the tooth.

I wonder if he is going to fly around his Jew pig at the concert?

Can't fricking wait, got seats on 2nd or 3rd row right next to the soundboard. Heard from a friend that said he saw him on the current tour and the concert was awesome.

I heard there were lots of anti trump images, but he said there wasn't a lot of discussion. I can handle that just fine.

I saw some videos from previous shows this tour. I'm on the fence between going and tolerating the bullshite or selling my tix. If it's a few songs, I can just kind of roll my eyes and be fine, if the whole show is a trump bash, that will get old quick.
