I’ve always been a fan of Sade, a Knoxville record store manager introduced me to her when she was debuting her first album.
Never have liked Billy Idol. If his songs ever come on, I change the station.
My first wife was a groupie for the Black Crowes, so never liked them either, lol.

Some of these artist haven’t sold much and barely have a couple of hits and you ask what pink has done?
I took my wife to see her a couple years ago when she sold out three straight shows in Dallas (65k tickets)
Top three show I’ve ever seen. Two straight hours of bangers while doing trapeze and Cirque du Soleil.
She’s one of best selling female artist of all time with 135m albums sold and 17 top 10 hits.
Just because you don’t like her or listen to her doesn’t mean she sucks
Chubbie effin Checker got in last year off 1 hit and Kate Bush got in with 2 hits and 6m albums sold.

When do you think I said something/anything about Pink? I literally haven't thought about her in 20 years. Let alone mentioned her. I don't know of any of her music.

Huey Lewis and the News should definitely be in. They had way more than a couple of hits along with some big albums (Sports, FORE). At least 12 or 13 top 10 hits too.

Maiden also did it with essentially ZERO help from radio etc. 150 million albums with no publicity. They are gods.

Should the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame change its name to just “commercial music hall of fame”.
Nobody thinks “Rock N Roll” when artists like Lauryn Hill, New Edition, Luther Vandross, Sade, Mariah Carey, Wu Tang are mentioned.
I don’t really have an issue with Pink. I don’t think she’s a bubblegum pop act. She has some real good biting lyrics in her songs. But I think of her as more punk pop than rock n roll.
Of the nominee list I’d only vote Oasis, Black Crowes, and Iron Maiden if it’s just Rock n Roll bands

So far. I’m most excited for INXS. I think Joy Division/New Order deserves it as well. They were massively influential.

It wouldn't bother me much if Pink got in. Her shows with the aerial acrobatics are pretty cool. Always liked this song. Too bad Fun. didn't make more records.
