Actually was a place called, Oudrey's Odyssey (?) on the bayou. We would drive from LSU and roll up to that place like a scene from a Cheech and Chong movie. We smoked from the time we got into the car, to the parking lot between sets, and then on the way home. Oh, those were the days.

Too bad Bill Davis is a huge tool.

Speaking of Bill Davis, I'll also add the Human Rayz, featuring Tim Parrish of the Lower Chakras.

Made up of Lee High graduates. The singer's name was Monique. I was friends with her brothers, who actually started the band.

Nice call on Becky Sharp. "Beach Ball" was great.

What about Mole/Willie Life

Anybody remember a girl named Debbie Gautreaux who sang in a bad call "Flight?" I remember that band had an awesome guitarist named Jerry (even by his own admission) and he always looked like he was gasping for air when he was playing.

I used to also like watching The Elements play at the Caterie.

Anybody ever heard of these guys?

The Basement Wall - "Never Existed" (1968)

Their only single is a really strong uptempo number mixing power-pop harmonies with Yardbirdsish hard rock.

(Anybody heard of the Senate record label?)

Lead singer-guitarist George Ratzlaff would later form Potliquor.
