nice faceoff, tough choice, but im going with dylan. he was the voice of his generation.

man, this is a push for me. toughest one, imo
dylan has the superior songwriting, cash has the better voice. i enjoy more of dylan's stuff when performed by other people. i'm going with j. r. cash, final answer.
also, welcome back

I hate to go against the Man in Black, but come on... it's Dylan.
Bob Dylan wins.

Dylan's musical influence was much wider, however I like more of Cash's stuff.
I'll take Bob Dylan anyways

Dylan by a long shot. And honestly that is not a knock on Cash in the least, just a testament to how strongly I feel about Dylan and his music.

Dylan.
CLOSER THAN THE EXPERTS THINK, THOUGH

Dylan, though it pains me to not side against the Man in Black. I think an interesting contest would have been Johnny Cash vs. Willie Nelson.

Now that is legit!
I say Dylan b/c he wrote all his songs. In fact, he's kinda' one of the most influential artists in the history of music. Cash was more of a 'star', than an artist.
