I'm not sure I want to shell out money for this again. I cannot underplay just how disappointed I was by their overall performance and setlist from a few years back.
The only way I'm going to see them is if Frusciante reunites. But until then, they're just a lightweight version of their past greatness.
Still, it is pretty cool of them to hit up New Orleans so many times in the past several years. I cannot say the same for a number of major American artists.

How about don't go and save the people you'd be sitting next to the experience of having to sit next to someone who's gonna bitch about how much they suck without Frusciante.

RHCP has been pretty terrible since Frusciante left. They were awful at Hangout a few years ago.

I'm pretty sure I saw them along with smashing pumpkins and pearl jam at UNO back in the early nineties...I think. Did anyone else go to that show?

That show was at Municipal Auditorium and I was there as well.
PJ was the opener followed by the Pumpkins the RHCP.

Frusciante or no Frusciante, at least I have a good time when I go to a show. I can't say the same about all of the zombies sitting quietly in their seats.

I went in 2012 to the Smoothie King center show and had a blast. We sat close and the TV/light show was cool. And the set list was fun. I'd go again if it wasn't a Tuesday night.
