Great lyrics. Not the time or style of stuff that I usually listen to - but held my attention nonetheless.

7/10 for what it is. 5/10 for "relistenability" solely based on my taste.

This one is kinda hard to quantify stylistically so I'm curious what y'all think...

Really? I like both versions

They kept it pretty similar to the original.

Not something I'd normally listen to, but it sounded really good. 9/10.

Edit:

Since the guy above beat me to it:

10/10. That was awesome.

10/10 no question. As a guitar player, I literally can't comprehend being able to play like that. I remember when this video first popped up, I watched it dozens of times.

Of Dust and Nations - Thrice Breakdown from 3:40 on is one of my favorite instrumental sections ever.

I like the end better than the beginning 6-10.

One of those songs that I instantly picture a potential movie scene going along with instantly. You know, some 80s flick. Could actually picture it fitting in with the Donnie Darko soundtrack.

I'll give the song a 7/10 for my taste, although I do like Tom Petty.

Not something I could just listent to on repeat, but a good song to play every now and then. Now, the music video is awesome.

Anything less than a 10 rating on that would have to be by someone that has never played an instrument in their life. One of my favorites.

Interestingly, it is a song that I can -- and have -- put on repeat.
