Tickets for the "Rhapsody" tour go on sale to the general public starting December 7 at LiveNation.com at 10 a.m. local time. QUEEN and Adam Lambert fan-club pre-sales will run from 10 a.m. local time through 10 p.m. local time on Thursday, December 6. A video trailer for the tour can be found below.

Going under the "Rhapsody" header, the six-week tour will debut a brand new larger-than-life production. Stufish Entertainment Architects' set designer Ric Lipson says: "QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT's 'Rhapsody' tour will, once again for them, expand the parameters of what a live music experience can be. This new show promises to be their most spectacular yet, an innovative and interactive celebration of the continued power of QUEEN's music."

Never known to rest on their laurels, QUEEN on this "Rhapsody" tour will unveil a stage show as experimental and rule-defying as the hit-packed QUEEN back catalog. The band has worked with the creative partners behind the eye-popping "News Of The World" 2017 tour — Ric Lipson of Stufish Entertainment Architects handling set design; Rob Sinclair on lighting design; and Sam Pattinson of Treatment Studio behind the video content — to develop an unmissable show.

Yes I know Freddie Mercury is impossible to replace and this is a joke of a band, not the real Queen, and all the other usual complaining about replacement singers. Has anyone actually seen them live? Lambert is a pretty good singer and a flaming homo. He's the perfect replacement. Looks like they put on a big production too. I kind of want to see this.

While I see it as a Queen cover band, my wife is flipping out about going to this. I can't find info on ticket pricing anywhere. Anyone know or can find what the price range will be?

There's Freddy Mercury's Queen, and there are Queen cover bands.

Of all bands in the history of music there is not one that can claim more so than Queen that the front man IS the band. Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and such come close, but their singers don't come that close to defining the band the way FM did.

I went on stubhub a few minutes ago. General public onsale starts on Fri, Dec 7 @ 10:00 am CST but there seemed to be some on sale there now. 140+ high up, double that down low.

My wife and two friends flew out to Vegas a few months ago to see Queen there...absolutely loved it.

I almost bought tickets to see them a year ago in Houston--cheap tickets were available. I'm sure prices have skyrocketed now that the movie's out and they're calling the tour "Rhapsody".

This is must see. Saw them in Nashville . it was Queen production, a tasteful tribute to Freddie, and Adam Lambert is unreal.

Brian May and Roger Taylor will be performing with Adam Lambert. This is not some fricking cover band. This is Queen minus Freddie Mercury. Its a must see show and this group is no joke.

Damn didn't realize Deacon retired. Still worth it for it for the other two and Lambert.

Saw them in Houston last year. Incredible show. Yesterday I was watching a bunch of my videos from that show, then a few minutes later got online and saw they were coming here. The show in Houston was incredible, and I also saw Queen live in 1978 so I have a good reference point.

Adam Lambert is, imo, the only singer who can do Queen’s music justice. He doesn’t try to be a Freddie clone (like Martel). He has the pipes to hit the notes effortlessly, and he can also just be himself and command the stage. Anyone who is a Queen fan and skips this because they think it’s a “cover band” is really missing out. I can’t think of a better concert I’ve seen, and I’ve seen plenty.
