Not personally my style music, but Adele would have played well in the previous era’s. Her voice is similar to dusty springfield. Mariah Carey would have been good in that era with her style of music in the 90’s. Other than that your probably right.

There are a few good albums on that list. Adele's 21 is top notch and I really liked Taylor Swift's 1989 album. Josh Groban's Noel is one of the better Christmas-themed albums out there.
Beyond that...most of everything else I either haven't heard or is mediocre.

Hard to believe this is almost 15 years old now, but this song pops up on my lists often and I like it quite a bit. This guy has a lot of good music in general and there are a lot more out there these days who are quite good.
