Jimmy Page has taken shits more talented than Keith Richards. I guess that's why Jimmy Page has played on Rolling Stones records but no Rolling Stones member has played on a Led Zeppelin record.

Zeppelin fans have this strange infatuation with trying to compare Zeppelin to the Stones and The Beatles. It's really weird. I always kind of thought of them (Zep) back behind The Who and as far as songwriting, definitely behind The Kinks.
All I did was state a "fact" within an "opinion" poll.
It remains... Zeppelin's entire career and most of their catalog is owed to old/dead blues musicians. ....who actually did the songs much better without a spastic drummer.

That can be said about any of the British invasion bands in the 60's. The difference is the Rolling Stones wanted to be their influences, Howlin Wolf or Chuck Berry but weren't talented enough to be commerically successful. So they deceided to sell out and mimiced the Beatles becoming a pop band.
