Tell me you have shitty taste in music without actually saying you have shitty taste in music.

Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" was a really overrated album and it could actually be argued that it really just kind of sucks.

It remains... Zeppelin's entire career and most of their catalog is owed to old/dead blues musicians. ....who actually did the songs much better without a spastic drummer.

However it's still flawed logic. I guess that means Billy Preston, Marianne Faithful, Brian Jones, Eric Clapton, Yoko One, Nicky Hopkins, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Donovan and Graham Nash were all better than, or came from better bands than the Beatles, since they all performed/guested on Beatle recordings.

The Beatles probably recognized talented musicians and wanted to collaborate with them. The musicians you listed with the exception of Richards, Jagger, and Yoko Ono are very talented andr respected. Yoko Ono sleeping with Lennon helped her case but what's the explaination for Richards and Jagger.

but Stewart was not an "official" member of the Stones.

Not at the time of the recordings, no... but he was at one point. And was inducted into the Rock HOF with all the other "Official" members.

A good number of songs by many artists sound like glorified wanking sessions, i.e. Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Peter Frampton. Some of that stuff is tough to endure in a car.

I don't mind Frampton. He's pretty subdued and useless.

But I agree with you on SRV and Zeppelin. Their covers/rip offs are actually just loud bombastic mass produced Shart sessions.
