If Parkinson's Disease could sing, it would sound like Eddie Vedder.

I'm quite curious as to what it said before he edited it. I'm sure it was a weak weak attempt at being clever. Fortunately recognized and corrected. What an arse clown.

In the last 20 years or so, popularity is almost perfectly inversely proportional to quality of music.
Wow, it's like you just got home after attending a lecture in "Hipster 101". just remarkable.

Foo Fighters- man I've tried and tried, and tried...
I'll add this to my list. I don't even understand how Foo Fighters became so popular. Like it doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.

All I did was add that we have one of these lame threads every two weeks, which is true. Apparently you tools need to let everyone know that you don't like Springsteen/U2/whoever on a regular basis. We get it, you're edgy. Find something more original to talk about.

Most "remarkable" thing is that my take on it is exactly diametrical to typical hipster mentality. Some of you rubes can't decide whether to accuse somebody of being old or a hipster when they dare point out that the Emperor needs to put some fricking pants on.

I was visiting my brother in BR this week and he had WYNK on. Some country rap came on and I asked who this was. Having never heard anything by FGL I wasn't surprised given what I've read in the music board. Absolutely awful and a disgrace to country music.
BTW, he did change the station....

It's just bad stuff. I'm not going to debate taste. People like what they like. But the fact that they classify it as "country" is just insulting.

Janelle Monae- probably a nice girl, but something about her annoys me:
It's prolly a combo of the hair & the 'try-hard' in her videos trying to do quirky thigs with the camera making goofy faces

On these boards it seems to be much more interest in talking about what people don't like rather than what they do. Folks sure spend a lot of time shitting on things.

I guess you listened to Nirvana and Soundgarden in the early to mid 90's or you were born then?
My answer is Bro Country and Rascall Flatts. Florida Georgia Line being the utmost of all that is unacceptable in music now.
