However, Unforgetable Fire and War need to be mentioned and Under a Blood Red Sky is one of teh best live albums.

why.. I dunno, I could just always relate more to them being from the south.. their music is the soundtrack to my youth..

The Cure, just because I still jam them pretty often. REM definitely figured heavily into my rotation as well. I never dug U2 despite having many friends who did.

U2-more no. 1 hits, no. 1 albums, a profitable rockumentary than the other contenders therefore no. 1. Simple as that.
