I need some recommendations based upon Saddest Quo and Weakest Shade of Blue. Anything from them even remotely close to those or just your favorites. Thanks.

Only two I know, so was hoping for more, but I get it and that's probably why I know them.

Any shitty 90s pop music will light your fire.

There was a group called Roman Candle that was putting lps out around that same time, and had a very similar sound (and, unfortunately also never struck it big). Just need to be careful because there's a band using that same name now that is completely different in genre. The Roman Candle I am referring to has all of their discography on bandcamp and its completely free:LINK
Their two best lps are Oh Tall Tree In the Ear and Wee Small Hours Revue.

I've never heard of this band but that song is awesome. Giving that album a listen now. Thanks for sharing!

Sounds like Death Cab mixed with Big Star.

I like it. Bigtime Byrds, Buddy Holly and Beatles influences.
Really love that 12 string sound.
My new Jazzmaster XII is suppose to deliver today. Hope I can get a similar noise out of it.
