As opposed to 50+. 15 is a few. No matter how many, the end result is the same.

I was at the '75 show at the PMAC. or was it '73?

We took I-12 from Covington to Baton Rouge ... which wasn't open yet.

... lucky to be alive.

I was there. The best live show I have ever seen. And I have seen plenty.
I saw the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin in the PMAC and yes Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin where the two best shows I ever saw. I go back and forth on which one was best so I choose to not have a "best ever"

Hendrix played at independence Hall in in BR in 1968. Elvis and many others played at Baton Rouge High School's auditorium.

I’ve heard Johnny Rivers owns the Whiskey a Go Go on the Sunset Strip. Does anyone know if it’s true?

but in 1977 the Maravich Assembly Center was only 5 years old and held a capacity of 13,000 plus. It was probably one of the better venues at the time

Good point. The BJCC came on line in 77 and Birmingham got all the big names during that time including Zepplin on that tour.

Love that poster!

The Stones wanted to rent the Monroe Civic Center for a week before the '75 tour to rehearse with their new stage. The Stones camp told the city they would keep things as private as possible and provide their own security. City turned them down due to them being satanic. Also the same reason KISS never played Monroe in the 70's
