lmao ... i was kickin it at mckinley middle school when all those albums came out ... i remember getting a copy of eazy-e and nwa from some older guys in the neighborhood and bringin to school and gettin in trouble because it was "gangster rap" ... what a joke ... good times

I was recently going through and listening to a bunch of old rap videos. After Bring the Noise and Fight the Power, I played House of Pain's 'Jump Around'. Funny, I never realized at the time just how much House of Pain sounds like PE; sort of like the rough Irish Boston answer to PE's Brooklyn sound.

As I was scanning through the thread I don't think I saw EPMD, so I'll add:
