whatever comes next won’t be as good without Bobby. I was as skeptical as anyone back in 2016 but as of today I’ve seen more hours of live music from dead and bro than anything else in my life.

it’s when he sings that I wince a little bit …but vocals are not the bands strong suit anyway. I sure wish they’d have been able to talk Hornsby into joining on piano and vocals or that they’d bring in someone like Margo Price or similar to sing

Once the fans get over the fact that Jerry aint walking through that door and then listen to what/how they are playing it now I dont see how you cant see and hear how good they really are taking these songs and making them live.

Nobody will ever have Jerry OR Bob's exact guitar "tone". Bobby's wailing away is so unique that you are right it will be "different" when that day comes.

Hopefully there will be soundboard recordings the sphere show because the cell phones dont do it justice compared to 2023 DeadCo at say Folsom Field. But for now I will enjoy what there are doing!!

I wandered into a gig at my college years ago. Ginger Baker was the drummer.
