Saw Ozzy on Ultimate Sin tour and No More Tears tour. Great shows.

Yeah Ultimate Sin was the tour Metallica opened for on the first leg and Queensryche later on. Both in ‘86. Maybe someone else opened some other shows but those were the two I saw. I missed out on the No More Tears tour.

I saw Ozzy twice.

First time was in New Orleans at UNO. Probably October 92. Halloween Show for Headbangers Ball with Ricky Rachtman.

Ozzy, Alice in Chains and Sepultura.

Second time in Biloxi with Megadeath. Got hit by a drunk driver leaving the parking lot.

Would love to see those.

I just looked through my box of old photos and couldn’t find them. I have another box in the attic. They may be in there. I sure hope I still have them. If I find them I promise to bump this thread.

What was awesome was not only did I end up on the floor, but I managed to work my way all the way to the front by the time Black Sabbath started. Tony Iommi was right in front of me. Man, I really need to find those pictures.

That’s a damn nice bill! Love both AIC and Sepultura. Gonna be seeing Soulfly a week from tonight in fact.

Hell yeah! All good either way. Hope you find them for your own sake at least.

This does remind me that I did at least see an iteration of Sabbath at a Club here in Jacksonville in ‘94 I want to say. Tony Martin singing (Hey! He’s probably their third best singer ever! ) But same thing. We got down to the wall right in front of Tony Iommi. That was fricking special.

Below is a pic apparently from that tour. We got Geezer looking like Buck Dharma and Tony slightly behind him looking like Pablo Escobar.

Tony Martin might be the 6th best singer ever for Sabbath if you toss in Gillan, Gillen, and Hughes. I like Martin, though, The Eternal Idol is a fantastic Sabbath record.

Saw Ozzy in San Antonio with Randy - just a few stops before he died. Panic set in as he was arrested for the infamous peeing on the Alamo incident and the show might be canceled. Still remember Randy sitting on the steps of the stage and rolling into the intro of “Diary of a Madman”. The place lost its mind. Got a beige concert T-shirt with a headless dove lying in a pool of blood that night. People hated that shirt, so I naturally wore it until it literally fell off my back.

Yeah I guess I didn’t really even count Ray Gillen since his vocals didn’t make it onto the album and the Hughes era was just such a weird one. I will say Ian Gillan in my opinion may be the worst singer ever for Sabbath. I know he has a powerful voice and all but to me on Born Again he just sounded awful.

It damn sure is.

Oh damn!! Another one I’m supremely jealous of. That’s awesome and I bet it was nervewracking thinking the show might be cancelled. That would’ve SUCKED!

I want that shirt. May have to do a search.

I have looked everywhere and can’t find it. It said “Ozzy Bites the Big One” on the back and had the concert dates. Loved that shirt.

Damn. I’ll give it a shot anyway. And beige is a cool color too. A little bit different from the extremely common black concert shirt. I always prefer for concert shirts that I buy to have the dates on it too.

If I get lucky and find it I’ll bump this thread with the link. Not sure how hopeful I am though now that you said you’ve searched everywhere.

I think we got Queensryche as Ultimate Sin tour opener.
Had Alice In Chains opening on No More Tears tour. Great, great show.

Never got to see Ozzy. Back in the 80's, I had tix to see him in Orlando at the Citrus Bowl, with several other acts on the bill, but shortly before the date...well, we all know what happened, and Ozzy withdrew from the lineup. Fleetwood Mac of all bands replaced him, lol... not a knock, just a 180 compared to Ozzy.

I do believe him when he says his touring days are over, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ozzy does an occasional residency stop here & there, just to keep his juices flowing...

I've seen OZZY multiple times as I wanted to be the "madman" as a teenager growing up in the 80's.

1982 - Diary Tour Tad Gormly City Park Stadium
1984 - Bark at The Moon UNO LF Arena
1986 - Ultimate Sin UNO LF Arena
1999 - BS Reunion Tour Summit in HOU

I don't remember a whole lot from the Ozzy concerts since I was using and Fk'd up like a football bat. I was sober for the BS Reunion Tour and it was LOUD and an incredible show.

Maaaan!! That show was just one day later. If only Randy hadn’t gotten in that plane. a-hole bus driver. Andrew Aycock was his name. Brought the bus to that property to get some work done on it and decided he would commandeer the prop plane that belonged to the property owner who he knew but wasn’t there. Then proceeded to buzz the tour bus to mess with Ozzy and the others who were still on it sleeping. Wound up hitting it and then flying into the main house garage exploding into a fireball. a-hole. Killed the poor makeup artist too who unfortunately had tagged along.

NICE!!! I did find a shirt from that tour very similar in color but this particular site didn’t provide a way to see the back of it so I don’t know if it’s the one or not.

I am over this.

I did see the back-together Black Sabbath one time in 1999 at Izod Arena (Meadowlands).

But I've never seen Ozzy and Zakk. In October 18, I had bought FRONT ROW for Ozzy at the Hollywood Bowl (2 bucket list items in one). A few days before the concert, got the email saying "something wrong with Ozzy's wrist, he has to cancel, rescheduled for 2019". As we know, that never happened. And now this.

Ozzy was very, very, very, very fortunate to have Randy Rhodes fall in his lap 6 months after getting fired from Sabbath.

Imagine the stress of trying to go solo, then Randy appears.
