There's gotta be some hair band from the 80's Sunset Strip scene that's worse than Picklesack. There were thousands of Van Halen/Poison wannabees back in the day.

The problem people have with Creed is that Stapp overdoes the religious imagery and its cool to hate on anything even remotely religious.

Why can't you accept that there are people that think their music just sucks? It's not that complicated. Stapp being a douche is just the icing on the cake.

Lots of bands make shitty music and don't get anywhere near the amount of hate as Creed.

Actually, he kinda seems like the man. Likes to party and is a Marlins fan. Two wins in my book.

When you combine shitty, bland, contrived and played-out "alt" rock with a douchey self-important bible-beater lead singer... What do you really expect?

Nickelback blows poison off the map imo.

Poison is another on my all time bad list. They were just cheesy.

I can dig a lil Van Halen occasionally.

I'm not a U2 fan by any stretch of the imagination but they had a solid run in the 80s

The Goo Goo Dolls guy is singing the national anthem on MNF right now. Where do they fit in this subject?

They fricking suck.

I remember when they played before the Saints-Falcons comeback game in the Dome in 06 and played the "I just want you to know who I am" song TWICE in their set.

I kinda liked the sound of one or two songs off their first album, but the religious stuff really turned me off from the get go. Twenty or so years later, my ear has evolved so much past their basic, not all that well written song craft that I wouldn't listen to one of their songs unless you put a gun to my head.

Nickelback is just generic to the point of being utterly boring, along with all their copycats like Theory Of A Deadman.
