This will be the best festival of the year, hands down. Not even including all the late night shows to go see.

Late night shows plus a stacked festival lineup is going to be exhausting this year.

Well....it could be Alpha Blondy

If only it could last past 7pm.

Gonna for sure go to first weekend Friday and see Steely Dan, then probably hit up Duran Duran at the SKC on Sunday. i'd like to go see that Meters show on Friday but im sure its like 80 bucks or some shite and i don't feel like dropping that on a late night show.
don't have a huge amount of interest in a lot of the rest of it. lolpearljam and lolchilli peppers. i've seen Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Snoop Dog, Van Morrison, Paul Simon, Dr John, etc
maybe go check out whatever day My Morning Jacket is playing, but thats a big maybe
its a really good lineup, just wish i hadn't already seen all the headliners 1 or multiple times

St. Paul and the Broken Bones should be announced for a late night or two

What the hell do they have to do to get a jazz fest invite. Surprised they weren't in the lineup the past two years

Seriously. They would be a huge draw in mid afternoon on gentilly.

I'd rather see them in a place like Tips again.
Festival sets are never as good as sets at venues.
