The over-production really hurt what makes Childers so special IMO. He'll still be epic live, but I can't stand what they did to some of these songs

I dislike Sturgill for some reason (can't put my finger on it) but I love this. Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna wear this out.

He has a residence at Basement East all of September. It was where I first saw him opening up for Brent Cobb.

On my 3rd listen now and it's happened. Best album of the year. Just phenomenal. I was worried it would be bad just because if you've seen him live, you know that when it's just him and a guitar there isn't a single artist I would say that is better than him, and I thought overproduction would ruin what's special about him.

I've never seen Tyler live down here in Texas, but I will be there whenever he decides to come to Dallas.
I love his solo stuff, but I'd love to hear some Deadman's Curve and Charleston Girl w/ some of this production.

Just bought tickets to the second week of his residency at Basement East in Nashville. First week is already sold out. Will probably end up getting tickets for the third week as well.

Saw him Monday night during his residency here in Nashville. It was two hours of awesome. He even bought pizza for the whole crowd and was handing it out during the opener. He's a real down to earth dude.
