Is Vince gonna run across the stage and get winded and let the crowd sing all the songs while the other three play?
Meh...who really goes to a Motley Crue show for the quality of Vince’s vocals?
Saw Vince a year ago at one of the Biloxi casinos, and while morbidly obese, his voice was good enough to make the show enjoyable. There’s no such thing as a bad Crue concert for a real metalhead.
Getting ready to dish out far too much money for the extended KISS farewell tour knowing full well that Paul’s voice will irritate the hell out of me.
The best I’ve seen at masking his diminishing vocal skills is David Coverdale. Saw Whitesnake a few years ago at the Hard Rock, and Coverdale sounded great, but after a while I noticed that for all the big high notes were being hit by his backup singers, or he’d hold the mic out to the crowd for those bits. It wasn’t glaringly obvious at first, but once you realized it you could see what he was doing. It really flowed well though and didn’t take away from the quality of the overall show.

Love the Crue, the others are shite. Couldn't care less sit this tour, if it happens.
Can't see Vince onstage at 300 lbs.

Def is going to be the glue that holds this tour together. Hate all you want, but they are the main MUSICAL attraction here.

Possibly....Bret Michaels will be the best vocalist and it ain't close....and I'm not a Poison fan.

Yeah well if that’s the case, why is the Crüe the headlining act? Vince Neil May be an out of shape, over the hill fatass now, but there’s a reason Mötley Crüe have sold over 100 million records.

I'm sure none of these groups are tagged with "opening" or "support" act. At best, it will be MC and DL as co-headliners, "with our friends, Poison." But, probably just a triple headlining deal.
And no way does Def Leppard take less money than Crue is getting - Def Leppard tours every year and North America every other year, so they're probably the infrastructure for all of this.

Crüe Tour
Read this article from Vivid Seats. Says right there in black and white they’re being SUPPORTEDby Def Leppard and Poison.

This is insane if true. No way this tour averages 60,000 per show.

An industry friend of mine told be he was offered the show. The numbers breakout like this according to his inquiry:
Motley Crue: $2 Million
Def Leppard $1 Million
Poison: $250,000

I'm told by that same insider the goal is to sell 60,000 seats and gross around $4.5 million dollars a show. That's a lot of cash!

If they are looking at 60k seats per show then this means they are playing football stadiums & not baseball stadiums similar to what Def Leppard/Journey played last year on thier co-headlining tour. This is going to be really interesting to see what all happens here.

LOL - They might get good crowds during the summer in some of the sheds but stadiums....no way

The plan for this tour was always to do stadiums. GNR did two nights in a few cities because the first night sold out so fast but they didn't average 60,000 per show. Metallica's recent stadium tour didn't average that much either.

Wrong. One farewell tour in 2000 which wound up being a farewell tour to Ace and Peter.
This is not true at all. Before their current farewell tour, their previous tour was billed as a farewell tour and was promoted as "Kiss them goodbye forever". Kiss has had so many farewell tours that its become a running joke. The only difference with this one is the fact that Paul's voice is completely shot, and there are rumors that a backing track is being used to enhance his vocals

If they come to Louisiana, the only “stadiums” I could think they could possibly play that would be appropriate would be the Superdome and maybe Tiger Stadium but I really doubt LSU would entertain it for a one night show. They host Bayou Country Superfest but that’s also for an entire weekend. The revenue it brings in over that entire weekend makes up for the field and whatever else that gets fricked up.
Anybody care to speculate on any other possible stadium venues where this event could happen?

That's true. I saw their "final" tour when I was 18 and now I am in my forties.

I wish they would give ticket prices. I can't find a price.
