I have to say Southern Rock. Most of it sounds pretty hackish to my ears today.

Neil Young is a good choice. His voice is irritating now.

Bruce Springsteen - I've tried to listen to his old stuff twice in the last year and I just can't stand it.

Jethro Tull - What the hell was I thinking.

Honestly, Neil Young sounds better to me now than when I was younger and early Springsteen and Jethro Tull still sound good. If anything Thick As a Brick sounds better to me now than it did when it was released.

Neil Young is not what he used to be.

Springsteen never was what he was cracked up to be.

Jethro Tull is one of the greatest live shows I have ever seen. Totally ahead of their time.

70's springsteen is as good as it gets.. some of his 80s music suffered from the crappy production methods of the 80s (that can said for a lot of records) and havent aged as well due to that... but the songs, at their basic are still very good...

I can say the same for Neil Young, as well... most of his music is timeless...

How early? Rappers Delight and that stuff sounds super dated. NWA, Illmatic, etc sound as great as ever

I don't consider Lit the same genre as good charlotte, simple plan, new found glory and all of those horrible shitty bands.

That was an awful, awful era of music we went through.

Talking Heads are timeless. Remixed or not.

Very good choice on rap rock. It is up there with 80s hair metal where you can immediately tell what 5 year window it was made

I enjoy a-ha as much as the next guy, but wow... it's pretty dated. Same with Duran Duran.
