Lennon died 11 years after his band broke up. For eleven years he was in demand even with Yoko.

Was Paul the better musician? Yes.

Cobain wrote the songs , Ghol wrote the rythyms. There is a reason why Nirvana didn't reform.

Frontmen get the credit usually so they had that going for them.

Both were great songwriters but not good performers.

Bruce Springsteen and it really isn't even close.

Maybe today, but early in his career through The River album, he was putting out some very good music. Darkness on the Edge of Town is a great album. Born to Run is an exceptional album as well.

I think many here dump on him because of his politics.

Don't even care about his politics. 95% of the musicians I love have politics that I disagree with.

Springsteen is a mediocre musician and songwriter and is elevated to the pantheon of American greats mostly because Baby Boomers from the Eastern seaboard wouldn't know good music if it shoved themselves up their collective buttholes.

Taylor Swift can anybody come up with a close second

To be fair, Taylor Swift has written or co-written every single song that she has put on every single one of her albums.

Yes, her music sucks, but you have to respect that and put those Florida Georgia Line douche bags in sole first place of overrated/poser musicians.

She has thousands of fans and has made millions of dollars. I don't think that's overrated.
