definitely one of my favorites but thats one of those albums where each song melds into the next almost seamlessly.

On message boards, people would attack Prince for his "cover" of No One Compares 2 U. He wrote it, but Sinead owned it. The Prince version did not age well at all.

Facebook actually, with a lot of younger members (18-22). People who weren't around when it came out. I noticed on the official video on youtube there is no songwriting credit listed.

"nothing compares" was a throwaway song prince wrote and recorded for a side project called the family (what used to be the time). it would have been quickly forgotten. sinead o'connor chose to record it and the rest is history

And the Family had a KICK arse song in the mid 80s called "Screams of Passion", also written by Prince. It was all over the radio one of those summers back then.
