How hard is it to just not have the word in your vocabulary?

didn’t hurt anyone by saying it

Other than all the black people that have ever had to deal with any kind of racism in their lives, which is most of them.

I don't like cancel culture either, but if your white and this word is in your vocabulary, regardless of intent, and you get caught using it, you only have yourself to blame for the backlash.

I don't think his career needs to be cancelled, however, I have zero problem with him feeling some pain to understand why it's not ok for him to say it under any circumstances. I doubt this is permanent and if he can honestly atone for it, he's not going to disappear forever.

Invasion of privacy is what it was. Hope no one does you that way. You would be singing a different tune.

I wouldn’t be singing a different tune because I don’t use words like that. It’s trashy af.

They’re so offended by the word they made it their favorite word. Makes sense.

It’s their word. This isn’t hard to grasp IMO.

I think it’s a terrible word and no one should use it. But that’s not reality. It’s acceptable for Black people to say it, but white people can’t.

So a different set of rules depending on what race someone is?

Thats basically the definition of racism

I figure I only have so much bandwidth to spend on the topic and I’d rather spend it in a way that makes me a better friend, neighbor, and kinder person instead of finding gotcha moments or logical inconsistencies in what offends people.

I don’t much care who can say the word.

I know I’m not going to.

I know this guy was saying it to be risqué and shocking, knowing full well what the reaction would be if people heard it

He’s going to face consequences for being intentionally offensive for fun even if not actually hating Black people. And that’s assuming the absolute best, which may not be a fair assumption.

Cancelling the guy over one drunken statement is bull shite in itself. It's not like he has a history of saying things like this, does he?

Yelling it in the middle of the street and caught on tape? No I think that’s a first. But I don’t think that its unfair to guess this isn’t the first offensive thing hes said.

Do I think Morgan wallen hates black people? I don’t know him but I doubt he does. He yelled the phrase to his white friend and he was recorded doing so. It’s a stupid phrase that only trashy people say. He fits the description of trashy. No surprise there.

Tell me about this word or words that black people aren't allowed to use under any circumstances.

You're being hypocritcal and racist by thinking this way. It's pretty simple, really.

Do you think he could top the charts against the old country legends of the past if it was during those eras?

Give me a break. What MW said was dumb but let’s not act like it had any bearing on anyone’s life. How about a culture that embraces criminal activity as a social norm? Celebrating rappers who’ve actually been to jail. What’s more harmful? I wouldn’t say the word but I’m over this faux outrage over something like this while black culture continues to embrace and celebrate immoral behavior.

That mentality is so far out of whack for me I can’t comprehend. It. It’s detached from reality and void common sense.
