Anyone watch this HBO documentary on Kurt Cobain tonight? I did .... thought it was awesome. Really humanized Cobain. Well worth the watch if you missed it.

Yeah the ending was way too abrupt. The director takes us on a journey of this man's life and ends it with a simple statement. Ugh. Would've been nice to hear from Dave also. For some strange reason he was absent from all of the interviews.
Overall I liked it but man that was some really heavy stuff. It was rough seeing Kurt's life raw like that. I think the one thing that really stuck with me is his first suicide attempt when he was high school. Him laying on the railroad tracks and as the train approaches he realises he goofed and is laying on the wrong set of tracks. Had he picked the correct tracks to lay on there would have been no Nirvana. Mind friggin' blown.

I liked Kurt and Courtney better. This one was focused more on Kurt's life though. It wasn't nearly as negative towards Courtney either.

According to the other thread, he was on tour, and was interviewed. It was too late to edit in, though.
Although Krist had a little screen time, I wish he'd had more.
