All I can say is it was outstanding but really wish they would have played one of Fade to Black or One

It’s a no repeat weekend so we will get One tomorrow night. I loved the deep cuts like Shortest Straw & AJFA. Opening with Battery was insane. The sound at the Sphere is next level. The 300 & 400 levels are so steep at the Sphere I don’t how I didn’t see anyone fall down & get hurt. Beer is $22 at the Sphere.

Just got home!

Not gonna lie - night one was a bit of a letdown. Energy didn't seem very high and visuals just weren't all that creative.

Highlights were Sad but True, Roam and The Day That Never Comes. At just barely over 2 hours, I was somewhat disappointed with the length also.

The sound in The Sphere is spectacular.

Night 2 was much better!

Crowd was stoked to hear Blackened for the opener and right into Fuel was awesome.

Orion was a highlight and then the 3 song stretch of Whiskey, Bell and One was a crusher. They really killed it with the visual on the latter two. For Whiskey, they've added a little harmonized bridge section after the solo that really hits well.

Across both nights, by my accounting, they hit every album at least once except for Garage Days and St. Anger. I would have swapped Outlaw Torn with Bleeding Me and Hardwired with Moth into a Flame.

All in all, a decent song selection.

I'm left wondering about the Sphere: how is this not really just an updated version of a Pink Floyd laser show (when there's no band there)? I was in the 200 level, and you almost had to remind yourself to look at the live band instead of the screen. I think for me really only worth it for a novelty which quickly wears off.

BTW, the very best visual of both nights was The Ecstasy of Gold intro.

I'm going again in the new year, once in the Snake Pit and then unlimited floor pass for all shows, so not sure how many I'll go to. I imagine it will be a different experience down there with much more focus on the live band members.

But if you were way up in the rafters, it seems like a weird experience to me.
