and replaced by mike campbell & neil finn

quote:

This fall, Fleetwood Mac will be hitting the road, but as reported first in Variety, the band will be without their longtime guitarist and vocalist Lindsey Buckingham. Buckingham first joined the group in 1974, touring and recording with the band until 1987—he later rejoined Fleetwood Mac in 1997, with his tenure extending until present day. Mike Campbell, longtime lead guitarist for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and Neil Finn, frontman for Crowded House, will replace Buckingham during Fleetwood Mac’s upcoming, yet-to-be-announced tour.

that sounds interesting

Finn and Campbell ? That’s a freaking serious A List replacement right there. I’d see that , but I have no idea what I’d get.

I don't even know if tickets have been sold or not.. but if they had and I had one, I'd be pissed. Lindsey is such an integral part of that band. Has to be about money.....

Mike Campbell is phenomenal, but if there's no Buckingham, the group should hang it up.

Yep, rather see them with different drummer than a different guitarist.

The Bob Welch era (Heroes are Hard To Find, Penguin & Mystery To Me) was my favorite. Didn't really care for the Buckingham/Nicks era at all.

Would they be "Buckingham Mac" or just "Mac"?
