She's covering a hard rock song and I remember it is so incredibly cringeworthy that you're lucky to make it past about 10 seconds.
I remembered! It was chop suey, there's a couple on youtube, the one I linked doesn't have a description but there's another one that gives the exact date and location. This one is the most cringeworthy of the 2

I hope they open the show so we can get this over with before all the political drivel from uneducated entertainers hits. I am really not a fan of this because I hate it when Metallica dumbs themselves down to the mainstream but I think it has more to do with starting buzz for the North American tour announcement tomorrow. At least Lady Gaga is a metal fan. It is well known her favorite band is Iron Maiden. I am ready to see how this turns out & what song they play. Please no Sandman.....

Thanks Metallica for the years of 1980 through 1991.
That's about all I got.

Their new album is damn good. If you haven't listened to anything after the black album you're missing out on some great music.

Apparently Metallica has no self-respect or integrity left.
That's kinda the impression I get.
I have my old tapes and CDs ... a few VHS concerts ... going to some concerts a long, long time ago.
That's how I want to remember them.

I like her Super Bowl performance, she is well done

Born This Way sounds a whole lot like Madonna's Express Yourself. She is still a great songwriter, though.
I tell my wife this all the time and she thinks I'm crazy. I even sing it out. I'm glad it's not just me.

Am I the only one that thinks she looks awkward and not very smooth when dancing? She probably should just stay behind the piano or mic and not force herself as a song and dance number.

To me, that was the highlight of the ridiculous Grammys!!

That performance was so bad. James' mic was muted for a lot of the song, and she danced as stiff as an English drummer plays.
