Convince me to go.
He’s not getting younger. Just a spur of the moment thing. I only recently realized he’d be there. I’d essentially be going by myself. Getting the wife a ticket would be a wasted $100 bill.

One of the all-time great songwriters.
His voice still sounds good (at least it did when I him saw several years ago).
Sound like an awesome venue for him.
His recently released album of new songs is great.
You won't miss the money.
Hope you enjoy it!

I saw him play with Isbell on NYE 2017.
I’m a longtime Prine fan, but was there more to see Isbell. I actually thought Prine was fantastic live and would recommend it quite a bit. I expected him to be close to Dylan level at live shows given his age and medical history, but he killed it.
You should go for it. In fact, I’ll probably buy tickets to see this show as well.

Saw him an about nine years ago at red rocks. Amazing. Will be seeing him again this fall when he comes back to KC.

I just saw his ACL taping a couple of weeks ago. It was really good and definitely worth going. His voice has gone down a good bit, but he still has his great sense of humor. And his band is A+.

He's coming to Knoxville on October 3rd and I'm buying a ticket as soon as it goes on sale. I love seeing Prine live...he is an amazing song writer...but he is also a great story teller. Just go and enjoy the experience of seeing one of the great American story tellers. He won't be around forever.
