Happy to see Neil back out there. Think I saw him in 2016. Enjoyed it and will be back

He was out there in 09 or 10 as well. Solid rock show. Watched it on top of my truck on Verna.

One of the best lineups I’ve seen so far. The Killers (one of my favorite bands) is on my bucket list.

Hot fuss is one of my favorites albums ever. But the killers new stuff is god awful. Such a waste.

I loved Hot Fuss, Sam’s Town, and Day and Age (favorite)
Battle Born was ok
Wonderful Wonderful was not that great. And I don’t even know anything after that.

I like this lineup. MUCH MUCH better than last year. I'd pay to go see a lot of these bands/artists, except for maybe Rolling Stones.

Playing either April 27 or 28 - I would guess

I'd have to think Stapleton & Killers are headlining the Saturday, Sunday of the first weekend

Stapleton is playing Saturday, April 27th, according to his website

Thanks, so basically someone named John Batiste is going to headline one night? That night will suck as will several others depending on the daily lineups.

Stupid take.

Dude is freakin good. And local. If you don't like the music, all good, but it will be packed.

I'm sure it will be packed. The most popular acts are not the best and this guy is boring bumble gum rap.

haven’t seen Neil young since the worlds fair. Definitely a big get since he hasn’t played much the past few years

The no chairs no tarp for Stones day will create an unhealthy mosh pit on big stage. Thankfully I saw them recently and it’s the only day I’ll not be attending.

or the last 6 years or so it is just Brandon(the singer) & Ronnie(the drummer) & about 4 or 5 hired musicians on stage with them. It’s just not the same anymore unfortunately.
pretty sure the guitarist is back

I am definitely definitely not going Stones day but am very interested to see how they schedule that day. Also while I can see no chairs/tarps that day you are right about NO personal space and what a drag for those at the smaller stages

When the stones were scheduled to play in 2019 but had to cancel, the cubes had already come out.
The ticket sales that day were limited, and all stages stopped at 4:30 and the stones were to play on Acura at 5. They would be the only music going for the remainder of the day.

It will be the same set up this year

Yes. Maybe schedule wasn’t the word I was looking for. I meant lineups for that day (specifically for the main and Gentilly stages). If you go to see the last performance at the Gentilly stage (maybe @ 3:00 or so?) I would think you’d have zero shot at seeing the stones at all. Also, how cool for the earlier bands on the main stage to “open” for the Stones in that epic environment

I think you can see them, it would just look like ants on the stage. Getting close won't be possible, at least for me since I don't like fighting my way through crowds.
I will be as far away and will just listen.

I'm not a huge fan of The Killers and their music, but I have seen them live and they put on a good show and tend to respect their audience.

Their cover of "The Whole of the Moon" is pretty good.....wish they would start incorporating the trumpet and sax parts into their rendition, though
