Phish, the veteran jamband from Vermont. The three-hour time slot is one of the lengthiest granted to a performer or artist in recent years.
The band is scheduled to close out the Acura Stage from 4 to 7 p.m. on the first Saturday, Apr. 27, while Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters will close the Samsung Galaxy Stage (formerly known as the Gentilly Stage) from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will once again close out the festival on Sunday, May 4 from 5:45 to 7 p.m. -- a spot and time often occupied by the Neville Brothers until 2013.

It's a shame that The Radiators Return didn't get to close
Some of those days look decent, but none worth the price of two tickets and parking for me.

Jason Isbell followed by Avett Brothers will be a hell of a show.

Yep, aside from the first act. That last Sunday is a great local close out day. GP jr. -> Dumpstaphunk -> Radiators -> Trombone Shorty.

I'm boycotting Jazz Fest for it's lack of red dirt artists

JMR always puts on a good show. I haven't seen him with Tysson yet, but I know their drummer is damn amazing.
