Stranglehold kinda sags in the middle. For that reason, I’d definitely rank Day of the Eagle - Robin Trower and Green Grass & High Tides - The Outlaws ahead of it.

For some reason,back in the day.. The Marines from the west coast were big Montrose Fans.
I am not putting Montrose down,but they never did it for me.There was a certain bluesness missing.
For me,it seemed like cotton candy. A whole bale of it would never give me what I needed.

My name is LSU Alum Wannabe and I hate “Terrible” Ted Nugent. Always have. Just awful. Zero to do with politics. Since I began paying attention to classic rock in the 90’s and Nugent was just “lives to hunt guy”.
Stranglehold and Cat Scratch Fever. Dreadful.
Got that off my chest.

I don't really care for Cat Scratch Fever either, tbh, but I love the main riff in stranglehold. It makes you feel like a 10ft tall bullet-proof badarse just listening to it.

wasn't going to knock it. Just wasn't even in the running for noth'n better 70's classic rock song. If you would have said great song, love it, I'd of up voted. ... Quite rankly, don't do classic rock anymore.
