There's obnoxious videos of every jam band out there. Bob Weir in particular has had a good amount of embarrasing TV spots.

Pot meet kettle? Last time I had any interaction with you, you refused to accept that anyone could possibly like TAB. Then told me I was wrong about which types of phish jams that I liked, proceeded to say that nobody from alabama could possibly like good music, as well as pretended I was lying about seeing Bisco live. And that is just of the top of my head.
All of this in a thread intended to tell someone about good live bands to check out.

One of the best things about Phish is their variation of jamming throughout each year I.E. the speed jazz of 1993, the psychedelic space of summer '95, and of course the funk of (particularly fall) 1997.

That is fine if it is not for you. And gumps doesn't get under my skin for future reference. We were shown winning a title in one of the most classic movies of all time. I'll claim that one as 17 or whatever we are at.
If a good jam plays off of waste or bouncing whats the problem, although I don't remember posting anything of the sort. Perhaps I did.

Well I think Phish is a great band. They remain a top touring act, have a dedicated fan base, and make tons-o-money. Plus they inspire people, either to love them or hate them.
There is only one demographic in the world who likes Justin Bieber; everyone else knows its shite. But Phish fans come from all walks of life, as do their detractors. The hobo on the street and the wall street banker could sit down and have a perfectly lovely conversation about Phish. I think that's a good indicator of "greatness" as well.
