"The songs are very varied, and some of them are quite long," Dickinson went on. "There’s also one or two songs which sound pretty different to our usual style, and I think Maiden fans will be surprised - in a good way, I hope!"

Curious to see what new style they have incorporated.

Tracklist:

01." Senjutsu" (8:20) Smith/Harris
02. "Stratego" (4:59) Gers/Harris
03. "The Writing On The Wall" (6:13) Smith/Dickinson
04. "Lost In A Lost World" (9:31) Harris
05. "Days Of Future Past" (4:03) Smith/Dickinson
06. "The Time Machine" (7:09) Gers/Harris
07. "Darkest Hour" (7:20) Smith/Dickinson
08. "Death Of The Celts" (10:20) Harris
09. "The Parchment" (12:39) Harris
10. "Hell On Earth" (11:19) Harris

This literally just made my day. Will be off to some unknown place to see them again once they hit the states.

In all the years I've been a fan, I've only managed to see them once. Definitely will catch a show this time around.

Saw the Legacy of the Beast tour in Indianapolis on their last run. I’ll try to hit up a random place that I have never been to next time around.

Need to see them again as I missed Legacy of Beast and only saw them once in the Final Frontier tour.

Performance was phenomenal but their setlist was complete dogshit, so I’d love to give another try.

The only time I've seen them was the Final Frontier tour at Madison Square Garden. I probably will see them there again.

I went to the first show of the Final Frontier tour in Dallas so we had no idea what the setlist would be. Since everything but the encores were 1992-2010 only songs it was lacking but the Legacy of the Beast show was just unreal. Book of Souls tour was great too. I am ready to hear the entire new album as I am not sold yet on the new song.

Wish I had seen that tour. As it is I saw the Book Of Souls tour in Lincoln and before that way back to the World Slavery tour in ‘85. Biloxi on a Sunday night then three nights later at UNO Lakefront. Down front both nights!!

I aim to see them again somewhere at some point.

I'm enjoying it alot, but I bet many Maiden purists are being talked off rooftops right now

I personally like when Maiden throws curveballs into their music, and there's alot of 'em on the album.

Iron maiden fans are loving it. By "Iron maiden purists" do you mean people that only like one maiden album from the 80s?

They have 17 studio albums now. Anyone have a guess what their set list would be like on tour? Mostly their newer stuff I'm guessing. How far back will they go? They have an hour and a half for 17 studio albums.

I wish they would let me write the set list.

They usually will release a live album of the most recent tour and looking back, yes they actually “tour” the new album.

But you’re right they have to cut a lot of classics b/c they play so many new songs and some are pretty long.

You would think, lol... I've read a few comments from people who act as gatekeepers for the band, and they're whining about the lengthy songs and lack of fast tempos. You know what else didn't have alot of breakneck-speed songs? Piece Of Mind, and no one bitches about that one (nor should they).

I love the classics, but that was then. I'm a big fan of The Final Frontier too, and the new album sounds like a cousin to it IMO. Alot to sink your teeth into, but it's worth it.
