Just now seeing this post. Seems the thread got sidetracked a bit but I think THS is a massive addition that makes Sat much better than Fri imo.

Benjamin Booker, HFTRR, Houndmouth, and now THS? Naughty Professor is a great, young sound as well. More bang for buck on Sat. But for $15/day, no reason not to see both days really.

I have many friends involved with Hogs teams that I really don't want to miss it. Plus the NOLA guys are heavily involved too. Will be good times…… I did just take a vacation too..

Pretty amped for NMAS. I booked them 12 years ago for a show in college back when Dwayne Burnside was playing with them. Excited to catch back up with them after all these years.

Yeah North Mississippi All Stars is definitely the highlight.

Hopefully Anders stops by as well.

I was surprised to not see his name on the lineup. Like you said he has played every year, and he also lives in the neighborhood (we both run on Wiesner).

I think he may be on the road actually. Probably up in Burlington getting ready for JF.

Huh? Is this some kind of reference to him playing with Phish? Don't frick with me like that

From his scheduled tour he will be with the Southern Soul Assembly all spring leading to Jazz Fest. Luther also is a part of that tour, so I'd imagine that Hogs for the Cause is an open date for Anders.

I'll see what I can find out about that. There is a guy on our sound crew who always has all the scoop about who is sitting in with whom. My money right now is on George Porter.

If that is the case then I'd say NMAS definitely cover "Everything I Do Gonna Be Funky (From Now On)" again

Oh.

Yeah, I've been saying since the announcement that it if any sit-ins occurred it would be someone from The Meters.
