Yeah it is an instrumental but everything is just...perfect. Cliff’s bass is so on point.

It's a great song. Glad the drummer showed up with an adequate performance, too.

Cliff is a legit Top 3/Top 5 bassist of all time.

For all the crap I give him - Lars was a great drummer in the 1980s - and the weakest player, ever, in Metallica. A great, great band pre-Napster and pre-"Some Kind of Monster" - they should never had made that faggy (NTTAWWT) movie.

Its certainly frickin groovin. It's the empiome of why Metallica is great. The low end on the rhythm guitar syncing with the bass line during the first riff making the speakers woof out just hits you in the chest.

One of my all time favorite songs. Saw it live at voodoo fest 2012. Top five concert moments for me

I've come to the same conclusion recently. This song hits the mark.

This just might be the greatest live performance ever caught on film. Yes, I am very serious. This shows just how powerful they were in the 80's. It is just unreal how amazing they were.

I think One is a masterpiece of heavy music, too.

Some artists are too great to have a masterpiece. Metallica is one of them.

Saw Metallica 6 times in the 80s then didn't see them again until this summer. The band was dead to me when they came out with the Load album.

Load had a couple of bad tracks, but was a very good record. It just didn't sound anything like the Metallica we knew, when it was released. St Anger was trash, and the band was never the same to me after that.

If I could rebuild that band, say..from 2000 forward, I would keep Newsted and replace Lars with Dave Lombardo.

For as great a band as Metallica is, Lars sure doesn't stack up musically compared to everyone else. And he's a twat

I used to feel the exact same way. But after watching Some Kind of Monster and reading a couple books on Metallica, lyrically it's pretty interesting. I've grown to quite like some of the tracks off of it. It's a real bruiser of an album.

The Black album is still one I can't listen to. Absolutly cannot stand the music, much less the horrible vocal affectations and what not James does.

Death Magnetic is shite.

Hardwired..... is fricking awesome.

Been watching some older Metallica concerts on youtube, like the Seattle one on the AJFA tour. Lars is simply not as bad as some think. He's no Cozy Powell or Mike Portnoy, but he does a fine job most of the time.

Hardwired is indeed awesome. I didn’t care for Load all that much, but “Until It Sleeps” is one of my favorite Metallica tune, especially done with the symphony on the S&M album
