I’ve never really listened to Hum, but just started giving it a listen. First track was great.

I like Stars (who doesn't?) but I've never been able to get into them. I'll still give this a listen though. Thanks for sharing! I had no idea they were still putting out stuff.

Downward is Heavenward is criminally slept on.

This album picks up right where they left off, while still showing some new tricks. Absolute treat. Surpassed my expectations. That fuzz tone, man. So gnarly.

Just listened to it and it doesn’t disappoint. I’m a huge HUM fan.

I gone through it once. Very sludgy. Not disappointed at all.

I enjoyed it as a whole... good record to put on and just kinda zone out to... no one song really jumped out to me..

I probably won't buy it...

I immediately bought the digital version on Bandcamp, then ordered it on vinyl like 15 minutes later.

Absolutely. One of the best albums of the 90s and the masses just didn't care about it.

I'm thankful for this thread, because I would have no idea they were even reunited otherwise. Great band!

Hum-Stars is a classic. I watched their interview with Howard Stern on YouTube a few months back as I was having a 90s nostalgia kick watching old Headbangers Ball clips, etc. Howard seemed to legitimately be a fan of these guys.

Yea, I ordered the vinyl too. Ship date isn’t until Aug. 31st unfortunately, and that’s assuming COVID doesn’t get in the way anymore than it has already.

Waves is a banger. Only one song in and I love it. #feelslike1995

First track has a My Bloody Valentine-vibe and I’m diggin‘ it. Hum and Failure are two bands that really know how to tastefully incorporate synth into rock music.
