One of my favourite bands. Don't think they got their props. Not sure if they're in the RR hof but should be

their one song

Which one?

It Ain't Me, Babe
You Baby
Let Me Be
Happy Together
She'd Rather Be With Me
You Know What I Mean
She's My Girl
Elenore
You Showed Me

They had more songs still, but the ones I listed were all major hits. The TURTLES...were hardly a one hit wonder.

Loved the Grass Roots, and the Turtles, and the Lovin' Spoonful, and the Monkees, and Paul Revere and the Raiders, and many more American acts of the mid-60s.

Flo and Eddie.
Warren Zevon wrote 'Outside Chance' for them.

I’d throw The Left Banke in there as well.

Happy Together and Elenore were their two biggest hits by far and probably not in my personal top 10 of their songs.

Let Me Be and Outside Chance are great loner songs

"Elenore gee I think you're swell, And you really do me well
You're my pride and joy et cetera"

Those lyrics alone are enough to keep them out of any hall of fame. Gee, I think you're swell? And throwing in an et cetera? They would have been better off as a one hit wonder with Happy Together.

Flo and Eddie's work with Zappa and The Mothers is some of my favorite.

The Turtles were pretty meh.
