How many hours a day do you listen to music?

Just curios.
I would say music is playing in my environs about 12-14 hrs a day. I don't have it on when I sleep, or when I have a work call. But the rest of the time, I listen to music.

this is me.
always have music or talk radio on in my office at work
and music on 24/7 when I'm at home unless I'm watching tv or a movie
I can't stand silence if I'm trying to accomplish tasks.

I usually listen to 5-6 albums a day at work, if no meetings.
I listen to music or podcasts in the car. Also anytime I run and sometimes at the house.
So maybe 6-8 hours a day.

Always on in my office, at the gym, put it on when I get home. Probably 10-12 hours on average

Yeah meetings used to kill my music jam, but now that I am self employed I have a lot fewer meetings (less money too though)
Today I listened to albums by...
Yppah
El Ten Eleven
Priests
We were promised jetpacks
sorority noise (twice)
Girlpool (twice)
Lorde
Alex G
Big Thief
Black Sabbath
all them witches

Same exact thing with me.

so weird is that I know so many people who have the TV on background for noise. All the time.
I visited my mother for a week in June. She doesn't even have a way to play music in her house. Anywhere, outside of her iphone, which had no music on it
No radio
no stereo
No portable speaker
no cd player
fricking odd. And the TV was on CNBC or Foxbusinessnews almost the entire time I was there.

Damn that's a lot. A bunch of those are really short albums, but still. I could pack even more in, but I listen with headphones and my ears usually need a break after each album.
Today, I listened to the new Fleet Foxes, Arcade Fire, Cloud Nothings, Deakin and an old War on Drugs EP. Plus live KEXP sessions of the War on Drugs and Car Seat Headrest.

I'm an assistant superintendent on a golf course. Get to listen to music all day with my headphones in. Definite perk of the job. And I've gone from having TV shows on in the background at home, to usually having music playing. So I'd say 12-14 hours as well.

It varies. I have music playing at least 2-3 hours a day, up to 12-13. Depends on what I'm doing that day. I leave it on if possible, but if I'm writing I have to turn it off.

The music played at work is fairly shitty, especially during Christmas, So I bring my own. There's 9 hours right there.

10-12 hrs. a day. A mix of metal and country gold.

Depending on if I'm at work or not it's anywhere from 11-16 hours a day. Needless to say I enjoy music

Being I record and mix and tour, when I'm not asleep I'd say 80% of my day
