How do most of you listen to your music?

Through an iPod with a good set of cans?
A nice system with different parts put together?
Anyone use audiophile grade equipment to listen to their stuff?
Do you use earphones mostly or do you listen through speakers?
What medium do most of you use to listen to your music collection?

But seriously, iPod while working out or doing work at home.
Car stereo during my 40 minute commute.
Klipsch outdoor speakers on my deck. Nice medium level system.

10 year old JBL computer speakers, though I think they sound pretty good. My car speakers are not that great. If the bass is too high it gets kinda fuzzy. Some bands sound better than others in there.

In the car I have a Kenwood stereo with an iPod interface. I have a 160GB iPod with all my music on it, something like 14k songs. Just keep that on shuffle all the time.
At home I have a music server and a Squeezebox plugged into my stereo. Emotiva receiver/processor and an old but good set of Acoustic Research speakers.

No the speakers are connected to my computer. I mostly listen to random stuff on youtube. The stuff I download goes onto my mp3 player to listen to in the car.

I have a Bose wave radio hookup up to an iPod through the aux but I feel the sound is pretty compressed coming through the headphone jack and it loses a lot of the quality.
I think I need to get an actual dock where the iPod is connected through the 30 pin connector on the bottom. I heard this improves the sound quality a good bit.
I've also thought about going the bluetooth route but worries that might affect the sound quality and won't be as good as a main line going into the system.

Is the sound that much improved that it warrants using these over an mp3?

My computer is connected to a Bose wave radio, that's what I use for around the house listening.
In my car I play cds, Car came with 9 speaker Boston Acoustics. It's pretty awesome.
Skull candy over ear headphones and phone when on the go.

Yes. Live shows are often recorded and uploaded in this format.

You can if you use high end audio equipment. A flac show can sound like you are there with the right stereo. With normal speakers there isn't much of a difference.

I listen to iTunes on my computer when I'm home and Sirius in the car. IPhone with earbuds at the Y. I really need a better way of listening, but my husband monopolizes the Bose System his sister gave us (and plays Spice Girls and Abba, lord help me) and I don't really want dueling music.

Yeah, aux plug
Quality is great, and it stays clear when gets really loud too. It's a pretty powerful system for the price.

Yeah they're legit. I wanna get the Bluetooth adapter to hook up my iPod but not sure its worth the $100 price tag.

I packed up my nice stereo equipment. Just wasn't using it anymore since I got a sound bar for the TV. So,
At home-Phone(Lumia 920) through Bose and Boston Acoustics docks
Car - mostly Sirius through Sportster 5.
Camper - Boston Acoustics speaker dealio.

You using the official Bose dock to a Bose system?
Does it run from the bottom through the charger outlet?
I heard that these provide much better sound than using the headphone jack with an Aux cord.
