How is this festival? Govt Mule is playing this year and was not sure of the set up.

usually had a really good lineup pre-katrina. no idea how it is these days.

ETA: looking at the history, they still have some pretty solid lineups. 2022 isn't posted yet.

Looking at the website looks like they are going the wristband/RFID route. Bayou Boogaloo did that but the vendors still took cash.

In previous years they had the ferry running so it was easy to get there from Canal street.

Not impressed by the headliners. There's some good depth to the lineup, though. I could not care less about The Beach Boys, and it's sad that Revivalists are a headliner rather than an undercard.

Some of the past headliners recently were Chicago, Skynyrd, and ZZ Top, so no, it’s really not that strong of a lineup for them.
