Although I agree that he is far more than a former dead keyboardist, he played with them for almost 10 years. That is definitely long enough to get recognition for it

Not really when your popularity and fame came before you even played with them. I remember when he started sitting on some shows and even today it seems like an awkward union. I'm not so sure it was 10 years either. I just mainly remember about a 2 year stretch after mydland's death that he actually maybe toured with them but he was mainly a sit in.
