JGB - Dear Prudence . Melvin is amazing on the Hammond B3

I was lucky to see JGB over 75 times from 81-93. Saw some amazing versions. This is the correct answer and it's not even close...cheers!

Look up the Mona Lisa Twins; I’m a Beatles freak & I don’t usually like covers, but theirs are spot on; faithful to the originals but with their own talents displayed

Used to play in a metal band with 2000’s. We turn Helter Skelter into a heavy groove metal style of a son We recorded it. Everyone thought it was awesome.

James Brown - "Something"

"At last count, which was years ago, there were 140 covers of "Something." Sinatra, Smokey Robinson, Ray Charles. My personal favorite is the version by James Brown. It was one of his B sides. I have it on my jukebox at home. It's absolutely brilliant." - George Harrison

Surprised this hasn’t been posted. Duane Allman shreds the guitar in this song.

Earth, Wind & Fire--Got to get you into my life

As the producer of that horrible movie based on Sgt. Pepper in the late 70's said, "at least it gave us this song".

Yes!

I listen to this of theirs all the time. It is utterly excellent:

I honestly don't like any Beatles cover.

I think they're all lacking.

However, I can listen to Todd Rundgren's cover of Rain at times without cringing.
