They closed the show with golden eel, mollusck and ocean man on the beach. It was amazing.
Ween TV plays clips from that Hangout show all the time. I'm still kicking myself for not going.

sadly, it's becoming the norm. but for a band with as many songs and hits as them to not be able to play for at least 100 minutes is kinda pathetic, IMO.

I saw Foo Fighters in 2011 in Little Rock. Got on stage a little after 8:30 and played until just after midnight. Amazing show. Definitely got the $50 worth.

Only one I've been disappointed with is Incubus in Dallas in 2011 at Gexa (old Smirnoff). There was a pretty bad storm so they had to delay. Ended up playing 20 songs but they flew through most of them and on a few they would play the first half of one song and the second half of another. I saw Blink, who is notorious for playing fast as hell, and their set even felt longer.

Went to a Jane's Addiction show in '90 and they played about 7-8 songs. Perry Farrell went on a tirade because some meathead security guard hit a kid on the head with a stick (he was trying to get on stage and do a dive). They played "Stop" and walked off stage. No encore.

Granted, this was the Ritual tour, with Nothing's Shocking and Ritual to play songs from, and 7-8 songs.

Paul McCartney played Tulsa last night.

He started at 8:30 and ended at 11:30, played 46 songs total.

That's pretty impressive for a guy his age.

He played Tulsa both Wednesday and Thursday night. I assume the Wednesday night show was the same.

I had an experience that was sort of the opposite. I finally got to see GreenDay live in 2009 and they played for a very solid 2.5 hours. It was so awesome and couldn't believe it when they kept going on and on.
But yeah, shows just aren't that long anymore. I would say the average is a little over an hour and the longer ones being an hour and a half.

Also, I'll say I was slightly disappointed with what seemed like a pretty short Black Keys set at Jazz Fest. I thought they were great so it wasn't a big deal, but felt like they def could have gone longer.

Weezer, Vail Snow Daze a couple years ago. They headlined and only played 45 minutes. It was a free show, so I can't complain too much. And it was cold lol.

It was an hour and 15 minutes after 2 encores. And Daryl Hall doesn't exactly progress between songs quickly. Dude likes to talk and talk between

I saw Sam Kinison in 1989 on his "Outlaws of Comedy" tour, he did a set that I don't think was even a half hour long. That was pretty disappointing.

I would think it would be the other way around.

I think your the only person at the entire festival to say the keys had a good set. Sound was awful, energy low, and setlist identical to their last Nola show.

Wasnt the worst ever, but not good.
