Ok. Then post a criticism of Kamikaze. I put some detail into my thoughts on it p.2 and we obviously disagree.

If you have a legitimate critical review, knock me out.

Cringeworthy songs like Venom. I mean you can’t honestly think that song isn’t corny? The nice guy/good guy songs are both pretty terrible IMO. Stepping Stones meh. Normal meh. Some really childish lyrics at times. Eminem is the most technically gifted rapper I can think of. Amazing skill with it but he so often has lame beats.

Highlight track is Lucky You. Doesn’t even sound like an Em song. Easily the best track he’s put out in a long arse time. The Ringer is solid. Greatest, Kamikaze, and Fall I like. So about half the album is good.

Agreed. problem is hes far from a serious beef/battle guy. hip hop heads know that dude has made a career out of big bro-ing third tier shite rappers and celebrities. A bunch of generic bars that sound crazy with his insane wordplay and flow

The potential for him getting draked by somebody is high as frick imo. And on this last album he put his neck out there

And dont think a shite ton of the black rap audience dont want to see him booted out of that top tier

I'll start there because I think we take it for granted. Even on songs you don't like, like Venom, his dexterity in flipping between multiple flows is incredible and enjoyable. I think people take this aspect of his music for granted too much.

Lyrically, I think this is some of his strongest stuff, especially recently. He hasn't been this focused since he was talking about his mom and wife.

I liked the beats better on Kamikaze than a lot of his recent stuff. He dropped a lot of the cheesy beats with a female singer on the hook, which I think makes things a lot better.

As far as childish lyrics...well, Eminem has always been big on offensive jokes. I do like how he strategically uses stuff like mimicking Lil Pump's Gucci Gang flow with nonsense words when he's dissing him.

I'm not saying it's a perfect album, but most have some filler, and Kamikaze's "filler" is pretty strong. I like The Ringer, Lucky You, Kamikaze, Fall and even Venom a fair amount. Especially the first four, I think those hold up against anything in his catalog.

Come on man this is Eminem we're talking about, there's a reason why The Game said nobody wants beef with him

Look im somewhat of a fan. but play it out a tad. devils advocate. After just witnessing drake get suplexed through three layers of the earths crust, how do you see a similar beef going for m&m

Dude has made some terrible arse music for a long time now. Hes never beefed with anybody respectable in his life. and budden has been a part of his inner circle for a WHILE

Just saying. hope hes playing 3d holographic laser chess. this aint ja rule

There's no way. Story of Adidon is an all timer.

I think Budden is underrated, but he's never produced quality like Pusha. Also, Eminem isn't image conscious like Drake. Adidon was so impactful because it blew up Drake's reputation.

If anything, Eminem is the opposite in pushing his private demons into the public. Everyone knows about the drug OD and family issues.

I thought Em was overrated early in his career, but he's a legit top level talent.

How bout talking about how rich eminem us, is a legend, is in everyones top 10 list, and won an oscar in his "diss track"

diss track 101 don't praise the guy you are dissing for being a rich, oscar-winning legend that is unanimously one of the best rappers of all time to everyone

how is what happened to drake relevant at all? Drake has never been a battle rapper. Em literally came up battle rapping and freestyling. He is 10 X the lyricist Drake is.

who else is even going at drake? Joe the podcast host?

Drake did ok in some beefs, like with Meek Mill. He got murdered by Pusha T, and that is gonna stick for a while.

It's legit to say Eminem has never really beefed with someone on his level. Ja Rule, Benzino, etc were battles he should have won. It wasn't Jay-Z/Nas, Eazy E/Dr. Dre, Cube/Common or Pac/Biggie, Puffy, Mobb Deep, etc where it was two high level guys going at it.

Budden and MGK are ok, but no one's confusing their rep with Eminem.

All im saying. talk that silly podcast host shite if you want to lol Its not like im a big budden fan, but I respect his career. Him and em would be the realest shite em has gotten into. theres already alot of history and smoke there

the ja beef wasn't even really Eminem. He just sort of inserted himself since he signed 50.

the reason Eminem hasn't had a real beef is because everyone knows not to go at him. The Game said as much in the video posted in this thread.

yea, I guess. Still not a real beef considering he's "retired". The dude is only relevant for the occasional radio freetyle and screaming into the mic on his podcast. In reality, Pump It Up is his only real hit and it was corny as frick, and he was forced into retirement because he just didn't sell records.

He can rap, no doubt. But he's clinging onto relevancy with this dumb shite. He is not the lyricist Eminem is and if this beef does move forward he's gonna get his shite pushed in. Maybe a year ago I'd say he had a chance. But Eminem is in another space right now.

I agree with that. Budden would be the most talented rapper Eminem's ever beefed with. Rule was popular but never had the lyrical ability Budden does.

I just roll my eyes at Budden acting like he's someone Eminem should be scared of. Budden is decent, but it's not like he's bodying high level guys to date. It's easier to talk tough about the hot track you'd drop than actually do it, and I think Budden will ride that.

I know they are clowns but ICP went hard after Eminem back in the day and he gave them a lot of attention and even got arrested for going after some of ICP'S crew when Kim kissed one of them.

D12 also chased them out of a club in Detroit and shot paintballs at them

This was ICP, they are not even on the same stratosphere as Eminem, but in 95 em was passing out flyers promoting a show and tried to use ICP as an appearance to promote it, they had no
clue.

Imo they legit both tied in a draw imo, for slim to diss icp on his mainstream albums to me is a win for the clowns.

Proof squashed the beef with ICP with a bowling match but it was fun to watch as both an ICP an Eminem fan back in the day
