If you are an American and dislike the Eagles you are no better than a commie in my book.

I think the Eagles are the greatest band ever. Let the down votes rain. Don't care. Not a song they ever recorded that I do not like. And really do not know anyone who doesn't enjoy their music.

They are a great band and somewhat under appreciated. I really like them and they made some great music

But Pink Floyd is the best band of all time

Just an old guy who's been listening to the Eagles for a long-long time. But there's been so many better since their heyday. I'm seeing Taylor Swift before Taylor Swift; and you know what a lot of people say about her. Because numbers don't always tell a true story.*

Not to ruffle your feathers - enjoy what you like - but I'm buying earbuds if we do a road trip.

Bitchiest (though Henley and Frey carry most of the water here)

I can't argue the point. They have been relevant since the 1960's and have some iconic songs. David Gilmour's solo on Comfortably Numb is my favorite solo ever.

And his new music is still relevant.

He has had some very good solo stuff. Its just gets drown out by the Pink Floyd 70's/80's magic

Best Soft Rock for Boomers. My Mom listened to them all of the time while I was growing up. Greatest Hits Vol 1 was her favorite.

The solo of Comfortably Numb at Pompeii should be studied for centuries. It has to be the best ever.
