Islands in the Stream...Kenny and Dolly with a song written by the Bee Gees.

Kenny had quite a few big ones with other artists too... We've Got Tonight with Sheena Easton and Don't Fall in Love With a Dreamer with Kim Carnes...not even considering his hits with Dottie West.

People who grew up in the 70s are just more well-rounded musically. AM radio, which is what everyone listened to, played R&B, soul, country rock, straight country, rock, pop, you name it, back to back to back.
Many good R&B duets during this time.
