If by phase you mean can’t stand to hear his whiny voice and every song sounding the same, then yes, I’m in the midst of a long term DMB phase.

College circa 1999-early 2000s were big DMB times for our crew. "Live at Luther College" was on all the time. Still enjoy it to this day, but don't listen to Dave as much anymore. We did see Dave and Tim at the Saenger a few years ago. That was special.

I’m still in it.
I hated them from the first and still do.

I was all aboard the Dave train until the every day/busted stuff scandal went down. Every Day was such a shite album it turned me off completely and I haven’t Liked anything he’s done since. They should’ve just released busted stuff as it was. The original tapes were much better than the album that was released.

I remember they played a free show at The Varsity in the early 90s... Me and some pals popped in to see what it was exactly... took about 1/2 a song to realize we hated it, so we left and went to the Bayou...They blew up after that and I was kinda left gobsmacked...

Kinda. My wife has been a big fan since the 90’s so I took her to a show after we met and enjoyed it enough that we started going every year, and then started traveling a bit to see shows. My fandom has peaked and declined some but we still go to at least one show a year. Next year we are planning to travel to a 2-night stand again in addition to our local show

Went through a deep phase in the early to mid-2000s. A guy I worked with introduced me to some bootleg CDs from the early 90s (3/23/93 was the first one I ever listened to), and I was immediately hooked on the live sound, after just being a casual fan of the studio stuff up to that point. I credit them as my a gateway drug (or at least one of them) into a lot of other good music.

My fandom really cooled off a couple albums ago, but this summer I went to my first live show in a several years and had a blast. It was a funk fest. I like Buddy Keys. I think Boyd leaving invigorated the band, but I will always have a special place for the original sound.

Are you asking if I grew up in the 90s with two ears connected to a heart?

Dave Schools stole a chili dog that I had paid for from a concession stand at Wanee in 2013.

In fact Ive referred to it as "Lame Crap-pews" for as long as I can remember.

And I actually tried hard given the womenfolk think it's best music ever made.

I remember this. It was during jazz fest and I was scratching my head as to wtf people would be going back to BR with all the badass stuff going on in NOLA.

No, but I tolerated him because chicks did. So if by phase you mean when I was snagging faux-hippie sorority girls who liked late night bong hits on a thursday night and listened to him and Big Head Todd all time.

Hmmm, maybe it was a phase.

Depends on the date. May be right around jazz fest if they play there, which would be tough.
